2004-12-24 - 8:38 a.m. ============== I spent a lovely time last night in Bard's Theatre in Furcadia. Each year they produce (among other things) a holiday play. This year it was a production written by Sway entitled, "A Reindeer Honeymoon." The theatre itself is an amazing place to visit: the technical work that goes on is all but invisible to the casual visitor or show attendee, but last season I got a peek behind the scenes and the DS involved is intricate and impressive. This year they added DS for reserved seating. Active since 2001, the theatre troup perform shows to packed houses and a show is well worth the time invested - this is one of the better private dreams/guilds currently operating in Furcadia. Expect lots of curtain draws, quick stage changes, even sound and special effects. Its very obvious these folk enjoy what they do and spend a lot of time preparing shows. They've found their niche and no one does it better. Visit the theatre anytime, and the website whenever you like: Special thanks to Sway, Kalyanii and the rest of the company for great seats and a nice evening out. -- Simon
